Biomechanics Knowledge Repository, Biomch-W, is aimed at creating an organized collection of biomechanics related information. The project is based on the similar and successful repository established by Wikipedia. This site relies on editorial contributions from the biomechanics community for complete and accurate information on a variety of topics listed. Members of the biomechanics community have proven their participation in knowledge exchange, as illustrated by the acceptance and widespread use of Biomch-L news group. Biomch-W is anticipated to be the platform to extend this involvement for general dissemination of biomechanics knowledge.
